Simon Cowell, who was recently targeted with eggs by a woman on 'Britain's Got Talent' finale, has slammed the security lapse saying that the former contestant could have had a gun.
The show's judge was seen acting tough for the cameras as more than 12 million fans saw him getting assaulted by Natalie Holt during Saturday's live final, but during a commercial break Cowell lost it and blasted the security that allowed her to make it onto the stage, the Daily Star reported.
A show source revealed to the publication that Cowell was absolutely furious that it appeared to be easy for her to waltz on stage and shower him in eggs.
The insider said that during the break on the show the music mogul stormed backstage and told one producer that Holt could have had a gun.
The source asserted that he wasn't so bothered about being hit with an egg but he was furious that the welfare of not only the judges but also the contestants and the audience could have been at risk.
