Simon Cowell has reportedly revealed that he plans to give away his money to charity in the future, as he doesn't believe in "passing on from one generation to another".

The 53-year old music mogul admitted that he will probably be leaving his 225 million pounds fortune to a charity for kids or for dogs, the Mirror reported.

The X factor judge added that as per him, "legacy" is about giving enough people an opportunity, time and teaching them, so they could do well.

Cowell, who is expecting a baby with New York socialite Lauren Silverman in February 2014, insisted he will never give up work but he will be a "cool" dad.
