Delhi Police had to once again detain Tibetans protesting against Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to India outside Hyderabad House, where delegation-level talks are going on between Chinese President Jinping and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

A scuffle between the police and the protestors took place, after the latter resisted the police's efforts to disperse the ongoing protest.

The agitating Tibetans shouted and displayed slogans that read 'stop killing Tibetans' and 'Tibet for Tibetans.'

On Wednesday, the police had detained Tibetan Youth Congress protesters who were protesting outside the Chinese Embassy, after which security at the Embassy was beefed up.

"The situation inside Tibet is very critical. Since 2009, over 130 people in Tibet have set themselves on fire. We want such issues to be resolved. The Chinese president must listen to these issues and find a solution for them," said Tibetan Youth Congress president, Tenzin Jigme.

Chinese President Xi Jinping, who is on a three-day state visit to India, is currently holding delegation-level talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi with the objective of expanding bilateral cooperation and strengthening ties.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping are expected to discuss important regional and international issues during the talks.
