Sir Ben Kingsley has rubbished rumours that he had auditioned for Star Wars Episode 7, asserting that even if he did have an audition he "wasn't awake" for it.
When Total Film asked the veteran actor if there was any truth to the reports that had linked him to an audition, Kingsley said that he has no recollection of the audition whatsoever, Metro.co.uk reported.
The 'Hugo' star jokingly added that he wanted to apologise to the producers and directors for his bad memory.
