Seems like Sir Mix-a-Lot does like "big butts and cannot lie" as he has weighed in on the drama surrounding Blake Lively and her recent controversial Instagram post.

In an interview, just a day after the Lively-drama, the 52-year-old rapper said, "For her to look at her butt and that little waist and to say, 'L.A. face with an Oakland booty' doesn't that mean that the norm has changed, that the beautiful people have accepted our idea of beautiful? That's the way I took it," reports E! Online.

The 'Gossip Girl' star took to social media on May 17, to post a photo of her curvaceous backside in a stunning golden Atelier Versace gown, which she captioned, "L.A. face with an Oakland booty."

The line, which was a quote from Sir Mix-a-Lot's 1992 hit "Baby Got Back" celebrating shapely behinds, was almost immediately interpreted as racially insensitive by several Instagram users.
