West Indies legend Sir Vivian Richards has hailed England batsman Jos Buttler, saying that he is 'one of the finest finishers in cricket'.
Batting at six, Buttler, 23, scored 99 as England won the third one-day international to clinch the series against West Indies on Wednesday.
According to the BBC, the batting legend said that Buttler is one of his favourite players, adding that he is one of the finest finishers in world cricket and is a 'class act'.
Buttler's promotion from the one-day side into the Test side has been suggested as a way of replacing the sacked Kevin Pietersen's aggression in England's batting line-up, the report added.
Pietersen himself suggested on Twitter that Buttler could replace fellow wicketkeeper Matt Prior in the Test side.
