Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia on Wednesday alleged that both the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are politically hand-in-glove, and lashed out at former chief minister Sheila Dikshit and Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay for their critical comments against his party.

"If Satish Upadhyayji and Sheila Dikshitji were so worried about the scenario in Delhi, then they should have joined hands. If both these parties are upset with the Aam Aadmi Party, then they should have joined hands and formed the government. Who had stopped them?" Sisodia asked.

"From outside, they would portray that there is a fight between them; but from inside, they will be together, they will be together in the Delhi Assembly," he added.

Criticizing the 15-year-rule of the Congress in Delhi, Sisodia said it will take time to heal the wounds of the people.

To a poser that Sheila Dikshit has said that she would not be contesting in the polls, Sisodia said: "The Congress Government was a very corrupt government, and today, people know how to overthrow the Congress."

Dikshit earlier in the day said that she would not contest the upcoming assembly polls, but added that she would help her party in the triangular battle.

The AAP leader also hit back at the Delhi BJP chief for his comments against Kejriwal.

Upadhyay had earlier lashed out at Kejriwal over his assertions that the battle will be between him and BJP's Jagdish Mukhi for the coveted post of Chief Minister.

"Who is he to decide about the Congress or BJP? He should see his own house first," said Upadhyay.

Sisodia expressed confidence that his party would form the government in Delhi under the leadership of an honest Arvind Kejriwal.

With the Union Cabinet recommended the dissolution of the Delhi Assembly and setting the stage for fresh elections in the days to come, the political parties have begun finalizing their poll campaign strategy to grab power here.

The BJP, which was single largest party in the last polls here, is pinning its hope on Prime Minister Narendra Modi who will be their star campaigner in the forthcoming polls.

President's Rule was imposed in Delhi since February after Kejriwal-led AAP government stepped down after remaining in power for 49 days.
