At least six persons were killed on Tuesday as two suicide bombers detonated a car packed with explosives in Yemen's southern city of Aden.

Several, including civilians, were wounded in the attack which occurred outside a camp used by a local security force organised by the Saudi-led coalition fighting Yemen's Houthi rebels, reported the Independent.

Ambulances have been rushed to the scene to evacuate the wounded.

No one has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.

According to the reports, last week, over 40 persons were killed in a suicide bombing and militant attack on a security building in Aden.

Yemen has remained in a state of civil war since 2014.
