Six Pak govt. websites briefly defaced by Afghan hackers

Six of Pakistan's government websites were reportedly attacked and defaced by a group of hackers.

According to the Daily Times, the group of hackers, that goes with the name 'Afghan Cyber Army' targets websites which included websites of the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources, National Training Bureau, Economic Affairs Division, Cabinet Division and Ministry of Interior.

The report said that the hackers posted a message which read that they are Afghans, united and fearless and addressing the Pakistani government said that it cannot just kill innocent people, women and children.

It further announced that the Afghans are coming with huge speed, and corruption will be under control as Afghans will have money and power and added that they will avenge their brother's blood today or tomorrow.

 

The affected pages were later removed and restored, the report added.
