A man had a close shave with death after a meteorite narrowly passed by him.
Anders Helstrup caught the action in his camera, the small video clip shows a small rock flying downward, just past his open parachute, CNET reported.
The meteorite can be seen hurtling past him. The incident took place in 2012, but it is only now that it has gone public for bolstering the search efforts to find the meteorite's landing spot.
The search dubbed, Project Dark Flight, is a reference to what happens when meteoroids are able to survive atmospheric reentry, cool down, and fall to Earth at a much lowered velocity.
