Reigning Premier League champions Chelsea suffered a shock 4-2 pre-season defeat against MLS side New York Red Bulls in a friendly tie on Thursday.
Loic Remy had put Chelsea ahead in the 26th minute, but the Red Bulls roared back after the break through a Franklin Castellanos stunning goal.
Subsequently, Tyler Adams and Sean Davis scored two goals quickly in the gap of four minutes to give a commanding 3-1 lead to the Red Bulls.
Although Eden Hazard pulled one back for Jose Mourinho's side two minutes later, Davis struck his second to quickly restore the two goal lead, the Daily Express reported.
Chelsea will next face PSG on Saturday in their second of the three-match North American tour.
