Earlier this week, Snapchat rolled out an update to its iOS app. However, with the update, the app's source code also got exposed.
As Motherboard reports, the code was exposed on GitHub. However, Snap, the parent company of Snapchat, revealed that it did not compromise the app and had no impact on the community.
Snap has asked GitHub to remove the exposed code data from the site. The public access to the repository has also been disabled but some researchers appear to be exchanging the data privately.
