NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden may soon get to meet his relatives, according to his lawyer Anatoly Kucherena.
Kucherena said that he has sent an invitation, but Snowden's father Lon Snowden has his plans adding that the whistleblower's mother and grandmother may also come to Russia.
Snowden has been charged for espionage after leaking classified data about the US' secret surveillance programmes, and has been granted a temporary asylum by Russia to avoid extradition.
Kucherena further said that Snowden will decide himself how to act and what to do within the framework of his human rights activities being in Russia.
