Lamar Odom is reportedly flying to New York to meet executives of several basketball teams to re-start his basketball career.
Sources revealed that the 33-year-old husband of Khloe Kardashian had recently undergone blood and urine tests and tested negative for drugs to prove that he is clean and sober, to be back in the NBA this season, TMZ.com reported.
Sources added that several teams have expressed interest in him, provided he could show he was lucid and the purpose of the trip is to meet them and possibly strike a deal.
It was believed that the NBA star wanted to go to New York to visit his family, and get away from "the negative energy".
