Your social media updates may have the propensity to make or break your career, a new survey has suggested.
According to Jobvite's 2013 Social Recruiting Survey, more than 4 out of 5 recruiters said that any mention of illegal drugs in a candidate's social updates leaves a negative impression, the Huffington Post reported.
Another update that can ruin your prospects of being hired are tweets or posts of a sexual nature.
Updates about drinking and sharing are also a complete no-no.
