ANI New Delhi

Former Delhi law minister Somnath Bharti on Tuesday moved the High Court seeking protection from arrest in a domestic violence case filed against him.

Earlier, a Delhi Court issued a non-bailable warrant against Bharti, who has been booked for domestic violence, and is allegedly on the run from the law.

Lipka Mitra estranged wife of Somnath Bharti had filed a complaint with the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) in June, accusing Somnath of committing acts of domestic violence and mental torture since 2010.
