Seemingly Bollywood's answer to Cowboy Westerns, the Abhishek Chaubey directorial's trailer starts with a standoff between the dacoits and the police who have cornered them at an abandoned house.

Chaubey's Sonchiriya trailer depicts wars bewteen dacoit gangs, fighting to acquire control of central India during the 1970s.

Sushant can be seen essaying the role of a dacoit along with Ranvir and Manoj, who all are trying to fight for control. Ashutosh's character on the other hand is seen trying to subdue them.

As the trailer proceeds it becomes apparent that Sushant's character is planning to go against his group and surrender, in short, be a rebel. Bhumi, on her part can be seen essaying the role of a fiery woman who is unafraid to pick up a gun when the situation deems so.

Produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Sonchiriya is slated to release on February 8.
