Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Giriraj Singh on Sunday said that Congress President Sonia Gandhi had no right to comment on Bihar's 'DNA' as her party had disgraced the nation during its regime.
"Sonia Gandhi and the Congress have no right to speak about DNA (Bihar's) because if someone has disgraced the nation, it is Congress," Singh told ANI here.
He further said that the 'Swabhimaan Rally' was a 'flop' when compared to BJP's 'Parivartan Rally' in Gaya.
"This Swabhimaan Rally was a 'flop' compared to BJP's 'Parivartan Rally' in Gaya. This (Swabhimaan Rally) was all about praising themselves," he said.
During her address at the Swabhimaan Rally, Sonia had criticised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for insulting Bihar's DNA.
"Modi Government is anti-farmer...Some people enjoy insulting Bihar, sometime they insult Bihar's DNA. It wants to distribute the land of the farmers among its rich allies," said Sonia.
The Swabhiman Rally was held here today with RJD chief Lalu Yadav, JD (U) national president Sharad Yadav, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar and Shivpal Singh Yadav, brother of Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav attending it.
