The latest in Sony hack has leaked that Paul McCartney is planning to bid for 250 tracks of The Beatles after eyeing it up for thirty years.

The news comes after leaked emails revealed that executives were considering selling the rights back to the 72-year-old singer, the Mirror reported.

A source told the website that McCartney will want to buy the catalogue.

In a post on his website, McCartney explained that for him it's ridiculous, and yet very flattering.

MichaelJackson forked out a massive 47.5 million dollars to nab the tracks before McCartney could and he later sold half the catalogue to Sony in 1995 in a deal worth 95 million dollars.
