Sony Pictures has eliminated its social media pages for 'The Interview' as debate continues over whether the studio was right to cancel the film's release.

The studio almost immediately gave in after hackers recently threatened top level Sony execs, saying that they want everything related to the movie, including its trailers, as well as its full version down from any website hosting them immediately, TMZ.com reported.

The movie's Twitter page no longer has any tweets, the Facebook page has been deleted and all of the film's footage has been wiped from its YouTube page.
