Sophie Anderton, whose life used to be a whirlwind of drink, drugs and all-night parties, has revealed that she started injecting herself with morphine as a young child, after she suffered horrific injuries in a hit-and-run crash.

The 'Celebrity Big Brother' star told Reveal Magazine that the accident left her with a swelling on her brain, a dislocated leg, which later developed into gangrene, the Daily Star reported.

The lingerie model asserted that if she was upset or in pain or in any type of emotional distress, she'd inject herself with the painkiller, which eventually led to her cocaine addiction.

The 36-year-old TV personality explained that she had to suffer excruciating pain every morning and evening when she had to scrape her wounds clean, and the only thing that helped her was the morphine.

Anderton added that she became dependent on painkiller.
