South Korean Ambassador visits 'Queen Ho' memorial in Ayodhya

South Korean Ambassador to India, Joon-gyu Lee, visited the 'Queen Ho' memorial on the banks of river Saryu in Ayodhya.

"I am very glad that this monument was built sometime ago. I think this place is a symbol of friendship between Korea and India. I think this place has some kind of lynchpin to develop our friendship," Joon-gyu Lee said.

"We are considering to upgrade this place, the two governments are talking.

After upgrading I think more people will come and pay tribute," he added.

According to reports, the South Korean government wishes to develop the memorial in Korean Pagoda style of this Korean park in Ayodhya.
