Backing the assertions of Samajwadi Party (SP) supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav that three Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders were involved in the Dadri lynching case, party leader Naresh Agarwal on Thursday accused the BJP of creating situation of intolerance in Uttar Pradesh.
"Everything has been revealed in the police probe. BJP leaders are involved in this. Everybody knows that the BJP is creating a situation of intolerance in Uttar Pradesh to gain vote. But this won't happen," Agarwal told ANI.
Earlier, Mulayam had claimed that three BJP leaders were behind the lynching of Mohammed Akhlaq in Noida and he can reveal the names if Prime Minister Narendra Modi calls him.
"The conspiracy was hatched by three persons of a specific party. There was a conspiracy in the Muzaffarnagar riots and there was a conspiracy in the Dadri incident too. The culprits in the Dadri case won't be spared," Mulayam told the media here.
The Dadri lynching took place on September 28 last year, when a Hindu mob attacked a Muslim family, alleging that the family was storing and consuming beef on the occasion of Eid.
