Space-age memorabilia has gone under the hammer, which includes a collection of nearly 300 items from the U.S. and Russian space programs.

The auction by Bonhams also features an emblem autographed by all three members of the Apollo 11 crew, including Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins, which was flown into space on the first moon landing, CBS News reported.

The emblem is estimated at 40,000 dollars to 60,000 dollars, while other prized items at the auction include a Mercury program spacesuit from about 1960, several American flags carried into space, and moon dust-covered gear worn by astronauts during the Apollo 12 mission.

Apollo 11's lunar surface checklist sheet with annotations by astronaut Buzz Aldrin is expected to sell for 35,000 dollars to 45,000 dollars.
