A Spanish newspaper has sparked controversy after publishing picture of a half-naked former bullfighter showing off wounds from when he was gored 50 years ago, on its front page.
La Gaceta's readers were shocked to see the snap of former torero Jaime Ostos holding his genitals, on Wednesday, the New York Daily News reported.
In the snap, the 83-year-old can be seen wearing only a striped shirt and his trousers around his ankles, while cupping his private parts and pointing to the damage to his groin.
The readers took over to Twitter to slam the image, saying that it was a "desperate attempt" for publicity by the publication.
However, editor Jose Antonio Fuster replied the tweeted stating "We're a different newspaper.
