South Africa national rugby union team has blamed bird poop for their incredible 32-34 loss against Japan national rugby union team.

South African team chiefs were reportedly furious at the birds which had been pooping all around the Springboks training ground, Daily Star reports.

Groundsman Richard Maryan said that they had hundreds of gulls on the pitch after they had cut the grass and they were making an horrendous mess.

The ground staff had even brought a hawk to frighten the gulls.
