The Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) board has reportedly announced their planned journey for the South Africa squad's tour of Sri Lanka in July, which will consist of two Test matches and three ODIs.
The South African team will reportedly reach Sri Lanka on June 30 and the two teams will play a 50-over warm-up match on July 3.
According to Sport24, the series will start with the 1st ODI, which will be played on July 6 at R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium (RPICS) followed by the 2nd ODI at Pallekelle (PICS) on July 9 and the final ODI of the series on July 12 in Hambanthota.
The three-match ODI series will be followed by the two-Test Series begining on July 16, with the 1st Test to be played in Galle followed by the 2nd Test at the Singalese Sports Club (SSC) on July 24, the report added.
Cricket South Africa (CSA) Chief Executive Haroon Lorgat said that the Test series is the one that was postponed from last year at Sri Lanka's request and is indicative of the good progress South Africa is making in finalising commitments with all countries in terms of the ICC Future Tours Programme (FTP).
Lorgat also said that they should be in a position to announce further exciting news regarding forthcoming international series in the near future, the report added.
