Maharashtra Child Commission on Friday directed Mumbai Police to register an FIR against Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan for his involvement in a brawl at Wankhede stadium in Mumbai during an IPL match in 2012.
In May 2012, Shahrukh was involved in a heated exchange of words with the security guards at Wankhede Stadium after they allegedly pushed actor's daughter Suhana and her friends.
Following the incident, the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) had imposed a five year ban on Shahrukh, forbidding him from entering the Wankhede Stadium.
The ban was revoked last year upon the insistence of IPL Chairman Ranjib Biswal.
