Superstar Shah Rukh Khan recently launched ace designer Vikram Phadnis' debut film with a traditional 'mahurat clap' in Mumbai.
Vikram, who has been a part of the fashion industry for 25 years, is all set to step into the world of Marathi cinema with his debut film 'Hrudayantar'.
Speaking on the occasion King Khan said, "I wish the whole team good luck and I wish they make a beautiful film. The first film is very important as it's remembered the whole life. It is like a first child."
The 'Raees' actor even lauded the designer's decision of making his first film in Marathi.
"I have known Vikram for a long time now and everyone knows he is very hard-working and very sorted. I'm very happy that everyone, including Vikram, is taking Marathi cinema forward," he added.
Apart from the 51-year-old, filmmakers Abbas Mustan, and actors Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora Khan were also present at the event.
