Former Delhi chief minister Shiela Dikshit on Saturday asked her successor Arvind Kejriwal to start cooperating with the Centre for the benefit of the people.
"The Delhi chief minister must stop playing the blame game. Instead, he should cooperate with the Home Ministry, the Lieutenant Governor and the police for welfare of the people of Delhi," Dikshit told ANI.
"I wish Kejriwal becomes a little more serious about governance and less about politics," she said.
Dikshit said a coordinated approach with the Centre was missing with this Delhi Government and the impression that comes out was not of a chief minister who wants Delhi to improve, but one behaving as a politician opposed to everything.
"The people of Delhi are feeling the need for coordinated administration, Kejriwal ji should pay heed to it," she added.
Having once targeted Dikshit on the rising number of rapes in the national capital, Kejriwal on Saturday trained his guns on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Delhi Police for the gang rape of two minors on Friday.

"The Delhi police are under absolutely no democratic control. Who holds the responsibility of the Delhi Police report? Prime Minister says he has the police under him, so he should answer on this issue, but we won't remain silent," Kejriwal told media here.
"The police has a huge role in this, they have to create an environment of security in the city. Prime Minister has to intervene personally," he added.
