The 17th Sub-Junior, 18th Junior and 19th senior state Level Weightlifting Championship 2014 was recently held at the Khuman Lampak Special Area Games hall in Imphal.
All together 128 weightlifters from across the state participated in the various categories of the championship organized by the Manipur Weightlifting Association.
The championship is being organised with an aim to provide a competitive platform to the weightlifters in the state
Weightlifters from the state have been performing extremely well in the national and international sporting events.
