Stephen Hawking initially thought that his biopic 'The Theory of Everything' wouldn't find any takers.
The famed physicist confessed that since the movie was based on a book by his former wife Jane Hawking, he was initially worried that "it might be a biased portrayal of their relationship."
But I was reassured when I read the script, and even more when I saw a first cut of the film, Hawking added.
According to Universal Pictures India, the story begins in the 1960s where Cambridge University student Hawking (Eddie Redmayne) falls in love with fellow collegian Jane Wilde (Felicity Jones). At 21, Hawking learns that he has motor neuron disease. Despite this, he begins an ambitious study of time, with Jane at his side, and they defy terrible odds and break new ground in the fields of medicine and science, achieving more than either could hope to imagine.
The movie releases in Indian theaters on January 16, 2014.
