Steve Jobs' widow 'begged' DiCaprio, Bale not to take Apple CEO biopic role

It has been revealed that Steve Jobs' widow, Laurene Jobs, called Leonardo DiCaprio and Christian Bale and begged them to stay away from the upcoming biopic about the controversial Apple CEO.

According to an important person in the movie, Laurene had been trying to kill this movie since the very beginning. The 51-year-old widow called up Dicaprio and Bale and said "Don't do it," News.com.au reports.

However, Michael Fassbender accepted the role to play Jobs in the biopic.

Sources have revealed that Laurene also asked a major studio to back away from the project.

'Steve Jobs' is all set to hit the theaters on October 9.
