Stoke City has been saved from getting relegated from the Premier League following their 3-3 draw with Swansea City on Sunday away from home in the Liberty Stadium.

Although Stoke had a 2-0 lead in the game with goals from Jonathan Waters and Stephen Ireland and able assists from Peter Crouch, Swansea was brought back into the game with dual shots from Wilfried Bony and Nathan Dyer.

However, Sport24 reports that Stoke drew 3-3 with a penalty-shot by Wayne Routledge in the sixth minute of stoppage time, adding that Charlie Adam scored from the spot as Stoke went 17th on goal difference, above Fulham.

Routledge had conceded an injury-time penalty for handball, the report added.
