Lakeith Lee Stanfield, that actor who plays Snoop Dogg in 'Straight Outta Compton', has been added to the cast of Oliver Stone's upcoming film 'Snowden.'
The rapper will play a National Security Administration co-worker and close friend to Joe Gordon-Levitt's character of Edward Snowden in the film about the notorious NSA leaker, Deadline.com reported.
The film also stars Shailene Woodley, Scott Eastwood, Melissa Leo, Zachary Quinto, Tom Wilkinson, Rhys Ifans, Nicolas Cage, Joely Richardson and Timothy Olyphant.
The film is scheduled for December 25 release.
