14-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal has admitted that he is no longer in his prime after a decade-long dominance of the game.
Nadal saw his rankings plunge outside the top five for the first time in 10 years after losing to Andy Murray in two immediate sets in the Madrid Open final on Sunday.
The Spaniard has been struggling to regain his top form after a wrist injury and an appendectomy last season.
Nadal conceded that he was not as good as he was, adding that he was not winning as much as he did in the past, Sport24 reported.
Nadal will square off against Turkish qualifier Marsel Ilhan on Wednesday.
