Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has dismissed his Real Madrid transfer talk and vowed to win fans back at his Anfield club, and said that he made the decision to stay at the club a few weeks ago.
According to the Mirror, the striker was questioned about late Real Madrid interest in his signature when he landed in Montevideo on Monday night for international duty with Uruguay.
Suarez said that he would go back to Liverpool to play and hopes to be the same players the fans can trust, adding that he wanted to play in the Champions League, but it could not happen.
When asked about Real's late interest, he insisted he had not even asked his advisors about it because he had made up his mind to stay, and has made peace with Liverpool, the report said.
