The Congress is hopeful that the alliance with the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) will help in the formation of a stable government in the state.
Congress Member of Parliament (MP) from Ranchi, Subodh Kant Sahay, said here today that the coalition government will utilize the money given by the Centre efficiently and complete projects in a time bound manner.
"If the Congress gets involved in this government, it will make sure that the money given by the Centre is put to a proper use. In a budget of Rs. 16,500 crore, where is the development if there is a lapse of Rs. 10, 000 crore?" he asked.
Sahay said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which ruled Jharkhand for 10 out of 13 years of its formation, never worked for the progress of the state.
JMM legislature party leader Hemant Soren yesterday met Jharkhand Governor Syed Ahmed, and claimed to have the support of 43-MLA's in the 82-member assembly.
