A pregnant woman in Sudan sentenced to death for marrying a Christian will be allowed to have her baby before she is executed.

An Islamic Court in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum ruled that Meriam Yehya Ibrahim, 27, may have her baby before she is set to be executed for leaving the Islamic faith, the Washington Times reported.

Ibrahim was convicted on May 11 of apostasy and given three days to recant her faith or face a gruesome sentence. She will be flogged - 100 lashes - and hanged, the report added.
