At least four people were killed and three others got injured on Friday evening after a suicide bomber attacked a busy restaurant in Somalia's southwestern city of Baidoa .
A police officer in Baidoa, Abdukadir Mohamed Abdi, had confirmed the casualties, Anadolu Agency reported.
"It was rush hour, and lots of civilians were inside the restaurant when the attacker detonated his suicide belt," Abdi added.
Southwest state minister for security, Hassan Hussein Mohammed, also confirmed the casualties in the attack.
No individual or group has claimed the responsibility for the attack so far.
However, Somalia-based insurgent group al-Shabaab has claimed many such attacks in the country.
Baidoa is the fourth largest city in Somalia.
