The Delhi Police is likely to conduct polygraph tests on three key witnesses in the Sunanda Pushkar death case, after being suspected of 'lying', say reports.

As per media reports, the three key witnesses that are suspected to be concealing facts include Shashi Tharoor's help and driver.

Sunanda was found dead in her suite at a five star hotel in south Delhi on January 17, 2014, a day after she was involved in a spat with Pakistani journalist Mehr Tarar on Twitter over the latter's alleged affair with her husband.

Police had on January 1 filed a murder case and formed an SIT to probe the case.

Meanwhile, Tharoor's aides said the couple had checked into the luxury hotel because of renovation work at his New Delhi bungalow.
