A lifelong Manchester United fan has revealed that support for beleaguered manager David Moyes is fast running out from the stands.

Moyes must feel like the walls are caving in on him as United continue to be the laughing stock of world football and his situation got even worse after it emerged even large sections of loyal fans are starting to turn on him, even though senior club officials continue to insist that Moyes future at the club is still secure.

However, the Daily Star reports that once supporters turn against a manager then his fate is sealed, with lifelong fan Jez Beck, who has followed United home and abroad for more than 40 years, revealing how backing from the stands is fast running out for Moyes.

Beck believes Moyes is out of his depth in a job that is too big for him, saying that in the time of Sir Alex Ferguson, United was being led by a champion, a history maker, mentor and motivator, who had a strong successful support network, developed over many years.

Beck further said that Ferguson had the trust of a strong chief executive, the trust of his players and the trust, and more importantly, the gratefulness of all the fans as compared to Moyes, who has made so many tactical errors that he has turned good players into bad players.

Beck also said that the supporters of Moyes have rose tinted glasses and believe history will repeat itself like it did with Ferguson, but both Moyes and Ferguson are different characters and so that is not likely to happen.

Beck believes United's owners the Glazers are also to blame for a demise, which he fears, could take the club a decade to recover from.
