Surat: Two held with fake currency worth Rs 72,000

The state Police arrested two people and seized counterfeit currency worth Rs 72,000 in Surat, yesterday.

The accused have been taken in for interrogation. Further details are awaited.

Recently, the Surat police had busted a racket of printing fake currency notes using colour printer and had recovered notes with face value of Rs 4.34 lakh.
