Susan Boyle is planning to convert her former house, where she grew up, into a six-bedroom palace.

The Britain's Got Talent star couldn't settle at a 300,000 pounds villa which she bought in March 2010 at the other end of town after her neighbors Paul Keaveney and Teresa Miller accused her of keeping them awake by singing all night, the Mirror reported.

A source told the publication that the singer tried living in the posh house, as she calls it, but she hated it and the council house is where her roots are.

Boyle, who worth an estimated 11million pounds, bought her former council house for 65,000 pounds in 2009.
