External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj has left on a four-day visit to South Africa, the Ministry of External Affairs has informed.
MEA Official Spokesperson Vikas Swarup took to twitter to share this news.
"EAM @SushmaSwaraj is en-route for South Africa for a four-day visit to bolster ties with the Rainbow Nation," Swarup tweeted.
According to reports, Swaraj will officially invite South African President Jacob Zuma to take part in the third India-Africa Forum Summit on behalf of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The summit will be held in New Delhi between October 26 and 30 this year.
