External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Friday met Tanzania President Jakaya Kikwete, who is currently in India on an official state visit, in the national capital.
Earlier in the day, President Kikwete was accorded a ceremonial welcome at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. At the ceremony, President Kikwete met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee as the national anthems of both countries were played.
During his trip, President Kikwete will hold talks Prime Minister Modi, Vice President Mohammad Ansari and senior government officials.
This is his second visit to India in 10 years of his leadership.
