External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj met Uganda Foreign Minister Sam Kutesa here on Wednesday.
Kutesu is on a five day visit to India.
Bilateral issues like trade and development were discussed at the meeting.
Kutesu has been elected as the President of the 69th session of the UN General Assembly, which will begin in September.
