An Indian woman suspected to be a recruiter for the Islamic State was arrested on Friday by the Cyberabad Police at the Rajeev Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad after she was deported from the United Arab Emirates (UAE)
The woman named "Nikki" Joseph, who allegedly has been recruiting boys through the social media networks to be sent to the Islamic State, was deported by UAE on Thursday night along with her husband Devender Batra alias Mustafa and their three daughters.
The Research & Analysis Wing (RAW) had on September 1 interrogated a man from Malappuram in Kerala at Kozhikode Airport over suspected terror links, according to reports.
A report from the government had earlier pointed out that many Indians were increasingly getting influenced by the terror group through social media and were leaving the nation to join the ISIS.
