Sylvester Stallone will star as one of the best-known sociopaths in organized crime in Brad Furman's mob film 'Scarpa', according to reports.
The project will be produced by Irwin Winkler of 'Rocky' fame, where Stallone will star as Gregory Scarpa, a former capo and enforcer (hitman) for the Colombo crime family known as the Grim Reaper, Deadline.com reported.
Stallone would play a man who murdered for the family, suspected in the murders of his own biological family, and then turned FBI informant.
The script is by crime aficionado Nicholas Pileggi, whose screenplay for 'Goodfellas' was nominated for an Oscar.
