Kurdish forces in Syria have condemned the attacks by Turkey on their units across the border.

According to the BBC, Turkish authorities said that they were investigating into the claims and insisted the Syrian Kurdish units remained out of the scope of the current military effort.

Turkish forces had carried out air raids against Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in Syria and positions of the Kurdish militant PKK in Iraq following violent attacks in Turkey.

Turkey also claimed that it did not intend to send ground troops into Syria.
